Talleyrand Station
With a 500K LNG gallon (42,000 MMBtu) capacity for bunkering, the Talleyrand facility is the first of its kind for land-based bunkering.
Efficiency is the cornerstone of this site, as simultaneous operations while fueling the vessels allow for loading or unloading of the vessel to continue during the LNG bunkering.
Eagle LNG worked closely with the U.S. Coast Guard to analyze and mitigate all risks involved when developing the Talleyrand facility. Through innovative, NFPA-approved engineering designs — like expandable modular systems, enclosed trenching, double-jacket stainless steel tanks, and mobile transfer units — the dispersion zone was reduced, delivery volumes increased, and delivery times decreased while assuring safe simultaneous operations. Improved air quality and reduced capital and operating costs benefit from this design.
